Born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, Ella Kennedy has always been at one with Scotland’s changing of seasons, tumultuous and unpredictable, of which inspires the duality of her songwriting.

Her highly acclaimed single Try(ing) , from her debut EP The Observer demonstrates this inner monologue of self doubt, accountability and acceptance for one’s self, one’s actions and the will to keep going in the face of fear.
