Line Up

Francis Lung is a singer/songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist from Manchester. He began writing and stockpiling music after the demise of his former band WU LYF in 2012. The unique brand of Power Pop featured on his recorded output spans genres as diverse as Disco, Soft Rock and Alt. Country whilst gliding seamlessly between them. He released his first EP "Vol I" on his own imprint ‘Songs Records’ in 2015 which The Line OF Best Fit called ‘A masterful anthology of tender, classic songwriting. The “Vol II” EP followed in 2016 which Noisey praised for its ’lilting melodies, thoughtful, complex arrangements and aching post-punk atmospherics thrown in for good measure”. After spending 2017 playing festivals and sold out shows in the UK, France and New York with his 6 piece band, Lung is set to release his heavily anticipated debut album ‘A Dream Is U’ in 2018. The record expands on Lung’s influences incorporating the sunny harmonies of The Beach Boys, the psychedelic groove of The Olivia Tremor Control and the craftsmanship of 70’s singer/songwriters like Judee Sill and Nick Drake.

Run Remedy ➡ https://youtu.be/BiDfpnR3DgU

Run Remedy is the musical brainchild of Robin Koob: New Jersey born singer-songwriter, violinist, and apostate of the classical world. Citing influences like Aimee Man, Wilco, and Elliott Smith, Robin’s sound has been described as ‘earnest folk-influenced indie rock’ speckled with riffs, noise and 90s references.

Each song has a keen focus on arrangement, bending dark gloomy themes into swelling exuberant anthems. Her lyrics are literate, down-to-earth and speckled with irreverence, reflecting her upbringing as a queer kid of two religious leaders in the suburbs of American Christian Rock country.
