The Thaw & AINAKO at The Hug and Pint

THE THAW are an alternative rock band currently projecting fiery music with an often literary lyrical twist. Forming in late 2021, the band are instrumentally influenced by Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Massive Attack and fellow Scottish group Biffy Clyro, while frontwoman Lauren brings a touch of Jeff Buckley and Liz Fraser to her vocal performance. The band work collaboratively to produce dynamic music with a mix of catchy, danceable tracks with others being more soulful and ambient.

AINAKO are a 3 piece Glasgow based pop band influenced by dark pop and post-rock.
