Gecko club are a 4 piece band consisting of James Neilson (vocals/guitar), Malte Henning (lead guitar), Jack Higgins (bass) and Jono Pamplin (drums). They provide a sound loosely based around indie rock with psych and reggae grooves to ensure you feel a laid back vibe, perfect for a sunny day, but definitely will take you by surprise if caught sleeping with heavier, faster numbers. Imagine ocean alley, paolo nutini and Sticky Fingers combined, then you will have the sound of Gecko Club. Frontman James and bassist Jack came first out of 30,000 entrants to win Open Mic 2017 as a duo before forming the Gecko Club Band which are set to release their debut album, ‘FARO’, this summer. These boys will not fail at impressing you with their live shows, with all the songs ramped up to ensure the room is full of energy and the crowd is not static.
