“…Confident and effortless, performed with ease and depth.” Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1
Hailing from Stirling, Scotland singer-songwriter Baby Taylah completed her first album at 17. Now due to release EP ‘Luna’ in January 2017 with a new sound, ‘Good Enough’ has already created waves in the Glasgow music scene in its pre-release.
Bobby Kakouris is a non-binary singer-songwriter and producer based in Scotland. They craft short alternative pop snapshots that are by turns beautiful, playful and tragic. They have shared original songs and covers on YouTube for over a decade, fostering a globally diverse fan base. Pre-pandemic, they performed regularly in Glasgow, notably supporting Dream Wife at SWG3 and featuring at Stag and Dagger and The Great Western.
Chizu Anucha is a musician, artist and filmmaker who lives and works in Glasgow. Exhibitions of his moving image work have been presented at V&A Dundee (2021), Tramway, Glasgow (2020); The Royal Glasgow Institute, Glasgow (2020); McLellan Galleries, Glasgow (2019).
His practice meets at the intersection of music, moving image, installation and site-responsive performance using research-based methodologies. His films often centre the politics of Afro Diasporic representation on-screen, and the romanticisation of everyday practices through poetic and reflexive styles of documentary filmmaking. His work meanders in an interplay between the picturesque and the uncanny in a way which reflects means of escapism, self-comfort and healing.
