Entry Requirements: 18+

Rory is a songwriter from the wild Atlantic coast of Donegal, Ireland.

He blends elements of folk with rock, having been heavily influenced by the long list of Irish songwriters including Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Villagers and Foy Vance – mixing this sound with the likes of Angus & Julia Stone and Ben Howard.

He has been described as writing ‘heartfelt lyrics over sweet, haunting melodies’, and BBC Radio Leeds mentioned his ‘effortlessly chilled out’ style when playing his song ‘Nervous’ through BBC Introducing. His live performances, with a full band, give an energy to these often vulnerable and honest songs that brings them to life.

Having self-released 3 EP’s (Walls, Decisions, and Until Next Year), he is now based in Glasgow, and new music is on the way
