Following on from a flurry of announcements including his new EP, his new single and his headline London show, the South London soul-folk singer announces his second single; the uplifting and feel-good anthem ‘BAD VIBES’. Recently returning to the spotlight with after a short hiatus to be with his family, the WE USED TO DREAM release is focussed on Jake exploring his own experience of every day challenges, of love and loss and ‘re-evaluating what this whole life and love thing is all about’

Speaking on the new single ‘’For me this one was all about just having space and being able to just do me, and hopefully helping to do the same!”.

Following on from the release of his exemplary debut album OUR LIVES in summer 2017 -which cemented his authenticity as one-to-watch artist with his own distinctive style of feisty, powerful soul pop with anthemic, big hooks–JAKE is back with a run of expertly crafted new music, which has earnt him nods from Sir Elton.

Prior to this the South London artist and multi-instrumentalist can boast accolades including 4 independently released EPs–all self-released and Jake himself playing all the instruments across these projects-streaming numbers that total over 30 million, support slots with Elton John, Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith and his own string of sold out London dates, and a huge international fanbase thus selling out headline shows in the US, Belgium, UK, the Netherlands and Germany.

Born and raised in south London, UK, Jake began playing drums at the age of 3 and during his school years taught himself to play piano and bass guitar. By the age of 16 he had completed his grade 8 drums at Trinity College London, and had begun teaching the instrument.

At 19, whilst studying marketing at university, Jake had begun to make a living as a part-time session musician playing drums and bass on various jazz and rock records for a variety of international artists, including the Grammy-award winning Duffy.

Marketing manager by day, songwriter and session musician by night, Jake began working with artists such as Cynthia Erivo, Gabrielle, and boy band Blue. Soon after, Jake began to try his hand at writing songs for himself, eventually landing his first major festival opening 'The Other Stage' at world-renowned Glastonbury music festival. Now signed to the iconic Sir Elton John’s Rocket Music, Jake Isaac has since worked with and supported Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith, Angus and Julia Stone, and Elton John himself.

Having produced and played all instruments on his 4 EPs and debut album ‘Our Lives’, he has played sold out shows and tours in the USA Belgium, UK, Netherlands and France and Germany.
