Annie is a young singer-songwriter based in Edinburgh. Performing her indie-rock tinged folk throughout Scotland, she creates melancholic songs with infectious melodies, tempered by poignant vocals. Last year she released her debut album 'An Unforgiving Light' via Scottish Fiction Records and Last Night From Glasgow to much critical acclaim.

"One to watch in the Scottish folk scene" - Rave Child // "Booth is onto a winner with her debut album ... the 22-year-old creates a mesmerising blend of folk and alt rock" - Jim Gellatly, The Scottish Sun // "There’s raw emotion here ... Booth takes on the big issues of existence and meaning with intelligence and vulnerability" - The National // "In her solo guise she ploughs a more folk tinged singer / songwriter furrow - one that is filled with nuance and emotion" - Overblown // "['An Unforgiving Light'] is a seminal record ... unparalleled in beauty and grace" - Radio ENRG //

One of Vic Galloway on BBC Scotland's Best Albums of 2017 // Selected as Record of Note on The Roddy Hart Show, BBC Scotland //
