"Imagine a bluesy Lou Reed and you're half way there." - Glasgow Living

Andy McBride is a songwriter originally from Glasgow, Scotland. Starting in early 2014 under the previous moniker of 'Panic Anchor' quickly became a mainstay of the local and national songwriter scene. Now playing under his own name 2018 is set for a debut full record and a heavy touring schedule to support the release later in the year.

Comparisons are often made to Springsteen, Waits and Earle but always within his own Glasgwegian growl - a truly original voice that can soar to the height of a howl then instantly drop to a raspy whisper. A ferocious performer who prioritises playing live shows above all - an experience to remember. Andy has toured Europe extensively already including many self funded UK and European tours, festivals and other appearances. Andy has also completed national support tours including an 18 show German support tour for 13 Crowes in November 2017.
