Nasari

Nasari are a 4 piece indie band based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The band met in college in mid 2016; and from that point have extensively played shows within Scotland, steadily building a fan following.

At the start of 2018, Nasari released their highly anticipated debut Double A-Side Afterglow and Robyn's Room to high appraisal and attention. The band will be embarking on a mini tour in March that will end with a headline show at Edinburgh's The Mash House, with support from one of the UK's biggest up and coming acts SPINN.

Having supported the likes of Childcare, The Ninth Wave, Peach Pit and Rascalton, Nasari have started to make their mark on the Scottish music scene and throughout 2018 will see the band continue to play more shows as well as seeing themselves in the recording studio.

-Up and coming Edinburgh describe Nasari "as the real deal and the sooner you go and see them live the sooner you'll understand why!"

-Feast Records described Nasari's support slot at the Ninth Wave as "we were really taken with them after seeing them ably support The Ninth Wave"

-New Wave Testament described Nasari's debut single Afterglow as "a sparkling polished debut from one of Scotland’s brightest up and coming acts"

-As quoted by CRASH "they possess the same haunting intensity and plodding rhythm of DIIV"

CRYSTAL

BOLD, brazen and utterly mesmerising; CRYSTAL are a four-piece grunge/punk band from Glasgow. Born from the city’s continuously fruitful and shape-shifting music scene, the hugely talented outfit first burst onto the nation’s radar when they opened pop superstar Paolo Nutini’s infamous Night Afore gig as part of the Edinburgh Hogmanay celebrations in December 2016.

Since then, CRYSTAL have carved out a thrilling new path with a renewed sense of focus and remarkable vitality. Led by the hypnotic vocal stylings of frontwoman Anna Shields, their new material is laced with nineties grunge, desert rock and pop sensibilities. Wolf Alice meets Queens of the Stone Age in their recent critically acclaimed single ‘Heaven’; an infectious blend of jagged guitars, propulsive rhythms, quirky synths and irresistibly catchy choruses.

Having previously featured on Tony Visconti’s Unsigned Hero’s aswell as being selected by Frank Carter to play Sailor Jerry’s Open House, the band made an unforgettable impact at Wide Days 2018 where they were chosen to showcase at a sold-out La Belle Angele in Edinburgh alongside some of Scotland’s hottest new talent such as LUCIA and Rascalton.

Sultry and brazen; grungy and infectious; CRYSTAL’s potential knows no bounds with new material expected to be unleashed in the near future. With a fiery passion and unique chemistry that translates perfectly from the studio into live performance, the four-piece have a hugely exciting summer ahead of them with a number of shows lined up at Electric Fields, Kelburn Garden Party, Twisterella and many more.
