Imagine The Beach Boys with Scottish accents, added indie fuzz and synthesizers. This is Be Like Pablo. The powerpop act make hook-laden music with four-part harmonies, overdriven guitars and a dose of retro imagery. Live, the band perform their intelligent pop songs with high-energy and charm. Having released their debut album ‘The New Adventures’ in 2014, Be Like Pablo returned last summer with the single ‘There She Is’ which received praise from Scotland on Sunday, Drowned In Sound and NME. Recent release 'My Kind of Girl' was recently Janice Forsyth's BBC Radio Scotland Single of the Week. The band has received airplay from Dermot O’Leary, Steve Lamacq and Vic Galloway and performed various BBC Introducing sessions.
