Dancing in the Moonlight Tour

Dancing on Tables

Dancing on Tables are a five-piece pop rock band from Dunfermline, a small town right outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. Formed in their last year of school, school mates; Robbie (22), Callum(19), Hamish (21), Gregor (21) and Michael (21) bring an eclectic range of influences to create an infectious pop rock sound. The boys have spent their last teenage years earning plaudits for their ‘dreamy melodies wrapped up in luring harmonies.’ Their engaging performances and dynamic personalities have been seen at several UK festivals in the last few years. Their music could be described as the perfect marriage of skilful Lennon and McCartney inspired songwriting, combined with the energy from the Libertines. In November 2017, the band signed to US label, LV Music then immediately releasing their first single on the label ‘OH’. This has since gone on to be played 100,000 times on Spotify alone.

Moonlight Zoo

Formed late in 2014, Moonlight Zoo wasted no time in spreading their infectiously funky brand of alternative pop music to the masses. Shortly after forming, the band cut their teeth busking the streets of Europe, headlining places such as King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and playing live on television on STV’s ‘The Riverside Show. Recently the band have toured Scotland and have played festivals up and down the UK such as TRNSMT, Isle of Wight, ButeFest and Party at the Palace, where they made their first main stage festival appearance. The band’s first official release came out in April 2016 - recorded by Scottish Producer Bruce Rintoul (Fatherson, Twin Atlantic), which received wide acclaim and was made Radio X ‘Track of the Week’. The band taken a lot of time to write and record in their home studio, working towards new releases. Spring 2018 will see Moonlight Zoo release new material along with a Scottish Tour.

"Cultivating a sundried fantasy directed by Tarantino" - ravechild

Following their evolution from bedroom project to full band in late 2017, Snack Villain's first shows saw them supporting Dream Wife at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow, as well as making a trip down to London to play the Old Blue Last. Feb 2018 will see the release of new single Tidal Babe, with lots more to come.

The band have received support from BBC Introducing Scotland, Matt Wilkinson at Beats1, Jim Gellatly & Rianne Kate Thompson at Amazing Radio, and lots of local and online radio.

Snack Villain combine disparate punk, surf and jazz elements. They have been compared to slacker-rock bands like Pavement and Guided by Voices, while also being described by one commentator as "Beck vocals over Richard Lloyd grooves".
