Welsh indie pop maestros Seazoo have announced their debut album will be out 26th January 2018. Fresh from supporting psychedelic punk rockers The Lovely Eggs on their UK tour, alongside sharing bills with Peace and IDLES in recent months, the band’s latest release further builds anticipation for their debut record with the influences of acts including Grandaddy, Super Furry Animals and Yo La Tengo shining through once more. Extensive support across the radio airwaves from Huw Stephens (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins, Lauren Laverne and Radcliffe & Maconie (BBC 6 Music), alongside widespread critical acclaim (DIY, The Line Of Best Fit, Q Magazine), leaves the five-piece well-placed going into what promises to be an exciting 2018.

Line Up

Seazoo released their blast of a single 'Teeth' late 2016 as part of the mighty Too Pure Singles Club. 2017 sees the release of their anticipated debut album.

SEAZOO are an act that started out as nothing more than a bedroom-recording project in 2013. Surprising momentum built however, as their Grandaddy / Yo La Tengo / SFA-inspired recordings began to gain support from the BBC.

Huw Stephens, Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq, Mark Radcliffe have all played previous tunes from the Ken, Car Deborah and JUMBO EPs. Rather excellently, Marc Riley invited them to perform a live session for his 6 Music show. They accepted, ferociously.

The band have brightened up Green Man, Festival No 6, Lost Map's Howlin' Fling on Eigg, Swn, Truck, The Great Escape, Long Division and even the legendary basketball court that is Maida Vale Studio 3.
