Siobhan Miller Plus Support

One of Scotland’s most acclaimed vocalists, Siobhan Miller, presents a special concert performing new original material. Joined by her band featuring Innes White, Louis Abbott, Euan Burton and John Lowrie she’ll also be playing songs from her last two critically acclaimed albums: ‘Strata’, which featured refreshed material from her background in traditional music and ‘Flight of Time’, produced by Love and Money frontman James Grant. These albums highlighted her extensive range through traditional, contemporary and self-penned material, as well as her “delicate, nourishing vocals and lyrically rich compositions” (The List).

A favourite of the Scottish folk scene Miller’s voice and approach to song has won her the title of Scots Singer of the Year an unprecedented three times at the Scots Trad Music Awards. Her unique style has been honed through collaborations and studies with many of Scotland’s top musicians and tradition bearers, leading to extensive tours fronting her own band, as well as guest appearances with the National Theatre of Scotland, a season on Broadway in New York, on US/UK TV drama Outlander and as musical director of the 2016 Celtic Connections opening concert
