Steve Grozier launches his new EP A Place We Called Home with a full band show on September 1st at the Hug and Pint, Glasgow.

A Place we Called Home is the sophomore EP from Scottish singer songwriter and musician Steve Grozier. It was recorded at La Chunky Towers, Glasgow in Spring 2017 and released on 1232 Records on September 1st 2017.

A Place We Called Home is a collection of songs that deal with the everyday experiences of love and loss. The first single Where the Roses Grow is a flamenco influenced rocker awash with layered guitars. From there, A Place We Called Home is three compelling stories of loss and impermanence.

With the release of his debut Take My Leave (2016) Glasgow singer-songwriter and musician Steve Grozier received accolades ranging from “Part Townes Van Zandt, part Jason Isbell, his vocal style is a classic blend of old and new Americana.” (Glasgow Music) to “The music Grozier produces is warm and beautiful, invoking the alt country ghosts of Whiskeytown and Jay Farrar’s Son Volt.” (Rave Child)

These plaudits led to a live session with the BBC, shows with The Wooden Sky and Will Varley, and appearances at Celtic Connections and Country to Country music festivals.
