Katie Malco comes from Fife in Scotland, now residing in London. Having toured the UK and Europe extensively, both solo and with super group live band of ex-Reuben and Hold Your Horse Is members, Malco will be recording her debut album in 2015. She released the 'Katie Malco & The Slow Parade' EP on Alcopop! Records at the end of 2011, produced by Iain Archer of such fame as Snow Patrol and featuring a studio band of Tubelord and PINS members.

Malco’s latest EP is a bold collection of piano songs recorded live in an old studio hall. The EP, ‘Tearing Ventricles’, was released last year on red 12" with Katie Malco & The Slow Parade B-side, postcard inserts/download code and artwork featuring photos taken by Malco herself on a Holga camera. Katie Malco is currently touring the UK and EU solo.

"Tearing Ventricles is twenty minutes of Katie Malco laid bare; detailing loss, anger, hope, despair and absolute joy - a piano, a voice and the most vital honesty laid down in song this year. In 'Wake Up and Fight', Malco instructs to "wake up, feel alive" - and for these twenty minutes we've never felt more so.” 405
